Lane Avenue Baptist Church has opened the doors of its building for worship. There are some guidelines that we all need to observe in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
• Stay home if you or anyone in your family feels ill or is running a temperature • The church will be cleaned and sanitized prior to our services on the 7th (Thank you Bonnie & Melissa) • Plan to arrive at the church between 10:30 and 10:45 AM. The doors will be locked at 11:00 AM and the service will start promptly at 11:00. • Services will look different. We will not have meet and greet, announcements, or scripture reading. • You may leave your offering on the table at the front of the church. Envelopes and pens will be available. There will be a container of sanitized pens. There will be another container to put the pen in after it is used so that it can be sanitized. • Park on the back parking lot and come up the handicap ramp. You will need to observe social distancing as you enter and leave the building. • As you enter, please turn to your left, go down the aisle and around to find the pew you'd like to sit in. Please do not enter those that say closed. • Restrooms will be sanitized after each use. • Please wear masks and gloves. • Services will continue to be filmed on YouTube for those that choose not to return just yet. When you return is your choice. • We know everyone will be excited to see everyone but please no handshakes or hugs no matter how difficult that request may seem. • If you wish to visit after services plan to do so in the parking lot so that social distancing can be maintained. • These guidelines may have to be adapted and or changed in the future as we go from one phase to another. Please bear with us.
Please read and follow the guidelines carefully, as we are doing our best to follow the CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations to keep the congregation safe and healthy as we worship our Lord and Savior.
